Hi there! I’m Ted Goas and this is my site. I’m a 30 year old designer and developer living in northern New Jersey with my wife, Sara (below). I’m happiest when creating something that gets the job done in the most efficient way possible. For me this is fun.
As a website and interface designer, my experience ranges from the agency world to the Fortune 500 atmosphere. I also work with individuals and small businesses to create an effective online presence. For a designer, I spend a lot of time looking at numbers (usually in the form of analytics).
I’ve lived in New Jersey, New York, and Arizona. I currently live in Pompton Lakes, NJ with no plans to move anytime soon.
In my free time I enjoy biking around New Jersey, playing outside, having a beer (especially a Newcastle), reading stuff found in Wired Magazine, watching The Simpsons or sports on tv, taking care of my house… and other boring stuff like that. I also admit to spending a lot of time on the computer when not on the clock.

My professional design experience has given me the opportunity to work with a varying list of clients in the areas of web design, SEO, and photography / videography. I’ve worked with:

- Musicians from Queens of the Stone Age, Jane’s Addiction, Lenny Kravitz, Santana, Sting, Dream Theatre, and Whitney Houston.

- Other organizations like Red Bull, NASA, and Avenue.

Where Else I Hang
I have profiles on Facebook and MySpace, but spend much more time on sites like LinkedIn, Twitter, Virb, LastFM, Image Spark, and Shelfari.
I don't save many photos, but I keep the ones I do on Picassa (though some are still on Flickr and this site). I was sorry to see Ma.gnolia go and have since migrated my online bookmarks over to Diigo.
I sometimes blog about skepticism over at Skeptical Monkey with Sara. I'm more of a reader and researcher when it comes to design articles and blogs, but I have written a few professional pieces including a graduate thesis on eBooks.
